If you are in Puerto Rico all through the days of summer you have to stop at the beach. The shining water and the striking Puerto Rico shoreline is quite a panorama. This is a fine beach. There aren’t any hotel rooms nearby but if you're ready to go a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your vehicle. You can raise that tent of yours or park your RV at a close by campground. |

Outdoors recreation is abundant; some of the entertaining stuff you can do are fishing, boating, hiking, and swimming, so lacking pursuits won't take place. Playa de Luquillo is a site where you won’t catch a glimpse of big crowds, but pieces of coastline like these are perfect.
| | This is a popular place for folks from Fajardo, and there are fine locations to look at along the Carillo Trail. One of the best things about Playa de Luquillo is its proximity to La Pared Beach, and why not check out Punta La Bandera also since you're here. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the vicinity of Playa de Luquillo called the Angelito Trail, and as expected, A journey to Quebrada Mata de Platano is always fun. here. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Playa de Luquillo. Going for a hike on the Vereda La Coca Trail is always a good adventure, and a visit to Caribbean National Forest is a fine idea. A day at Balneario Luquillo near Playa de Luquillo is
time well spent. The high level of rainfall makes Playa de Luquillo a relatively wet site; most of the rain falls all through November, and the driest month is March. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Playa de Luquillo get into the 80's. When the night sets in
temperatures plunge down into the 70's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 80's with winter lows in the 60's overnight here at Playa de Luquillo.
