There aren’t any accommodations close by but if you're prepared to journey a small distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. this section of coast is always a brilliant idea. Some pastimes here are boating, swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you could stick around for a while. Good hiking is available along the Vereda Caracol, and time spent at Playa Punta Arenas is always great.
| | You are right next door to Punta Ostiones if you're here at Joyuda Beach; from Joyuda Beach you get a brilliant panorama of Cerro Conde Avila. A day at lovely Playa Laguna close to Joyuda Beach is a magnificent thing to do; while you're here, you might as well pop by Quebrada Las Pinas. Go for a hike on the Vereda Descanso, and you'll meet a lot of people from Mayagüez here. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. you're here at Joyuda Beach you have to explore Punta Arenas, and if you come at the right time of year, Guabo River offers some good whitewater. Summertime highs at Joyuda Beach ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. High temperatures
through the wintertime are normally in the 80's with temperatures at Joyuda Beach dipping down into the 60's throughout winter nights. The high level of rain makes Joyuda Beach a pretty wet site; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is January.
