You may have to settle for a hotel a far from the beach if you want to stay an extra day, but do reserve a room ahead of going because it is a very popular destination. Playa de Cerro Gordo is not a fantastically congested section of shore, and it is an incredibly good beach. Some activities here are fishing, swimming, hiking, boating, and whitewater paddling, so you may well stay a while. The surroundings of this beach has so incredibly much. County, Puerto Rico is a fine spot to go. In case you're a camper you can pitch that tent of yours at one of the nice campgrounds in the neighborhood. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Areciebo River, and do schedule some time to visit
| | Punta Cerro Gordo if you have a chance. Nothing beats kicking back at Playa de Vega; if the weather is lovely, you get a splendid panorama of Cerro Cibuco from Playa de Cerro Gordo. Playa de los Tocones is a beach next to Playa de Cerro Gordo that you can go to, and Playa de Cerro Gordo is not far at all from San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Playa de Cerro Gordo; Shoe Line Trail is a tremendous local trail, and why not take a look at Punta Garza also while you're here. de Cerro Gordo rules! Take a side trip to Cano Cabo Caribe. Playa de Cerro Gordo is a reasonably wet place generally with much precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through
the summertime months highs here at Playa de Cerro Gordo reach the 90's. Summer night lows descend down to the 70's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 80's with winter lows in the 60's overnight here at Playa de Cerro Gordo.
