There are more things to do here other than just hanging out at the beach such as boating, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so it's just not possible to become bored. There aren’t any hotels in close proximity but if you're prepared to voyage a small length then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your automobile. A trip to Puerto Rico is not complete without some time spent on the beach. You can set up that camp site or park your RV at a nearby campground. |

Why not take a refreshing hike along the Vereda El Yunque, and time spent at Balneario Isla Verde is always great. Some nice nature is available in Bosque Estatal de Pinones; hiking is a popular thing to do around Aviones Beach; Recreacion Nacional Sendero de las Vientos is a fine local trail. can spend the day on the beach at Playa Torrecillas Pinones. Aviones Beach is a wet place that gets much rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. At Aviones Beach throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's.
