The close by hotel rooms are somewhat far from the beach, but do book a room before you go given that it is a very popular destination. | | spend the day on the beach at Playa El Combate. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Guabo River, and the Vereda Descanso is a delightful hiking trail close by. Bajo Casabe is near Playa Aguila and is a brilliant place; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Vereda Helechal.
