There are more things to do here other than just hanging out at the beach such as golfing, boating, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so becoming bored is not something that is likely to take place. You can run the rapids of Little Washougal River in close proximity to Sundial Beach, and Sundial Beach is in the vicinity of Lewis and Clark State Park which is a scenic location. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Persimmon Country Club Persimmon, and the scenery at Lower Dam Lacamas and Round Lakes is scenic. A pleasant place to go to in the neighborhood of Sundial Beach is One Reef; a round of golf at nearby Gresham Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time. to have a good time. Sandy River is a great local stream; if you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is Camas Meadows Golf Club. For the period of the summertime at Sundial Beach temperatures are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during
the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Sundial Beach. All the water falling down from the sky makes Sundial Beach a wet spot; most of the rain falls through December, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
