The cobalt surf beating such a pretty slice of coastline is quite a view. You could have to settle for a hotel a far from the beach if you want to stay for the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your vehicle. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available nearby such as fishing, whitewater paddling, boating, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is projected to happen. |

60's, and the night is a little cooler of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Short Beach temperatures sink to the 30's. Short Beach regularly gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through December while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
