| | If you are in Oregon through the days of summer you have got to have a look at the beach. Pumice Beach doesn’t get a lot of visitors, but spending time at this piece of coast is exceptionally pleasant. This is such an exciting section of coast. How long has it been since you went to the beach? In case you happen to be in Douglas County of Oregon, Pumice Beach is a magnificent local piece of coastline. The close by hotel rooms are slightly away from the beach, but do reserve a room in advance of a trip in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. |

Choppy water and such a pretty section of shore outclasses anything. If you love the fresh air, you won’t be saddened; there's boating, whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and hiking, so running out of endeavors won't happen. Rogue River National Forest is a good spot to stretch
| | your legs a bit; you can go for a hike on the Mount Bailey Trail. A trip to Crater Lake National Park is worthwhile, and tremendous hiking is available along the Tipsoo Trail. It's a fine idea to stop at Silent Creek, it's next to Pumice Beach, and there's pleasant hiking along the Beartrap Trail. For the period of the warm months at Pumice Beach highs are generally in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Pumice Beach. Pumice Beach gets a lot of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is July. | |
