Wonderful glittering water and the pretty seaside will make you feel good. This is such a wonderful beach. As if Pumice Beach wasn't enough you can also go hiking, boating, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so it's completely out of the question to become bored. |

If you're a camper you can raise that tent of yours at one of the great campgrounds in the vicinity. Some of the water nearby flows, like Silent Creek, and a journey to Rogue River National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. Good hiking is available along the Beartrap
| | Trail, and if you have time, Crater Lake National Park is a national park worth going to. Don't leave Pumice Beach without first going for a hike along the Tipsoo Trail, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Bailey Trail. At Pumice Beach during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Pumice Beach. The high level of rainfall makes Pumice Beach a quite wet place; the month with most of the rain is November, and July meanwhile is the driest month. | |
