| | Point when you're here at Jones Beach; get yourself into a kayak and hit Nehalem River. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Skyline Golf Course, and Wallace Slough is close to Jones Beach and is always a pleasure to stop at. Drift down the rapids of Elochoman River in a kayak. During the long summer days, highs usually are in the 70's at Jones Beach. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Jones Beach are in the 30's. Jones Beach sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. | |
