Cove Beach is a place where you won’t make out large crowds, but scores of people like to come here to be in close proximity to the water. Choppy water and the Oregon seaside outdoes anything. With so many beaches in Oregon you'll never turn bored. You can raise that tent of yours or park your RV at a close by campground. This piece of coast is a glorious location to take a look     at. There aren’t any hotel rooms in the vicinity but if you're prepared to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations before you go you're all set. There are some great whitewater spots on Kilchis River - North Fork, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Astoria for sure. You should stop by Arch Cape when you're here at Cove Beach, and Hug Point State Park is a tremendous location to go. A spree to Arcadia Beach near Cove Beach is always a magnificent idea, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Nehalem River. Cape Falcon is reasonably close to Cove Beach, and an afternoon playing golf at Manzanita Golf Course is always a diversion. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. Short Sand Beach   is near Cove Beach and is a scenic beach to pop by; hey, Mason Creek is a wonderful local stream. While you're here at Cove Beach you can take a hike along the Cannon Beach Trail, and the top of Round Mountain is easily made out from Cove Beach. Summertime highs at Cove Beach mostly tend to be in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 50's, and night lows at Cove Beach through the wintertime usually fall into the 30's. The high level of rainfall makes Cove Beach a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that rains the most while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
