This is a popular place for folks from Astoria; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Manzanita Golf Course. Cape Falcon is not far from Cove Beach at all; Hug Point State Park is a great location to visit. Arch Cape is near Cove Beach and is a fine site to visit; one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Arcadia Beach. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Cove Beach. Mason Creek is a scenic stream that is worth going to, and a day at Short Sand Beach is time well spent. You can make out Round Mountain       from Cove Beach, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Nehalem River. High temperatures at Cove Beach during the long summer days are in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally   in the 50's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Cove Beach tend to be in the 30's.
