Golf can be played at Three Rivers Golf Course, and you'll meet a lot of people from Longview-Kelso here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kalama River; nothing beats kicking back at Red Mill Beach. Beach a wet location; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. Summer at Cottonwood Beach arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Cottonwood Beach are in the 30's.
