On a delightful day you get a sight of Double Peak from Arcadia Beach, and Humbug Point is not far at all. If time allows, Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a national park worth a visit; Hug Point is very near and is a fine place to take a look at. Yeah, come here to Arcadia Beach for a fine time. You're sure to come across some good folks from Astoria here; if you come at the right time of year, Kilchis River - North Fork offers some perfect whitewater. | |

Hug Point State Park is a glorious site to stretch your legs a bit, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Nehalem River. During the summer here at Arcadia Beach, high temperatures typically reach the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's.
Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Arcadia Beach. Arcadia Beach gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is December, and August on the other hand is the driest.
