In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk River, and a quick tour to Scott Creek is unquestionably a great idea. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back again and again. The cheerful people of Brookings like to hang out nearby, and beaches are pleasant and Wakeman Beach is no exception. This ski area has it all. Playing golf is lots of fun at Cedar Bend Golf Course, and Barley Beach is a beach nearby that you can explore. The top of Hubbard Mound is easily made out from Agate Beach; the Grassy Knob Trail is a great hiking trail close by. But wait, there's more   to do in the vicinity of Agate Beach. Going to Cape Sebastian State Park in close proximity to Agate Beach is a good thing to do, and a trip to nearby Otter Point is very relaxing. Yeah, come up here to the Wind River Range for a perfect time. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood of Agate Beach called the Hazel Camp Trail. For the period of the summertime months here at Agate Beach, high temperatures generally get into the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's while Agate Beach nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Agate Beach is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest.
