There aren’t any places to stay in close proximity but if you're willing to drive a small length then no problem but you'd better reserve before heading out since these hotels fill up quickly during the summertime months. Heads State Park when you're here at Agate Beach is never a bad idea, and don't leave Agate Beach without first going for a hike along the Grassy Knob Trail. Agate Beach is a wet site that gets lots of precipitation; all through the month of December you get the most rain around
here while July is ordinarily the driest month. High temperatures at Agate Beach throughout the summertime months are in the 60's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and night lows at Agate Beach throughout the wintertime usually plunge into the 30's.
