Creek next to Wide Beach is a glorious idea; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eighteenmile Creek. Lotus Bay is not far from Wide Beach at all. Wide Beach gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; during September this area
sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. During the warm months highs here at Wide Beach reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
