Not far from White Beach you stumble on Mount Misery Point, and White Beach is in the neighborhood of Connetquot River State Park Preserve which is a wonderful place. Near White Beach you stumble on Hatch Rock which is a good place to pop by, and if you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Heatherwood Golf Club. If time allows, Fire Island National Seashore is a national park worth visiting; golf can be played at Nissequogue       Golf Club. Having a brilliant time at White Beach is trouble-free. Cedar Beach is right next door to White Beach if you're in a beach type of mood, and one of the principal features of the surroundings of White Beach is Mount Misery. Summertime highs at White Beach regularly tend   to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at White Beach. A normal amount of rain falls here at White Beach; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February.
