| | The harmony of the water and this beach is a wonderful sight. Upper Beach is not a fantastically packed slice of shore, and it's always exciting to be here. A tour to New York is not complete without some time spent on the beach. You may well have to settle for a hotel a far from the beach if you want to spend a night, but you'd better book previous to going given that these hotels fill up rapidly through the summertime. has everything. There are more pastimes here other than just hanging out at the beach like boating, fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and golfing, so it's not possible to become bored. You are in the neighborhood of Cornelius Point if you're here at Upper Beach, and places
| | like Orient Beach State Park are fine to visit. Not far from Upper Beach you hit upon Hay Beach Point, and a golf course nearby is Shelter Island Country Club. You must certainly go to lovely Truman Beach if you're here at Upper Beach, and a spree to Lower Beach is always a brilliant idea. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Upper Beach; the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, usually in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Upper Beach are in the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Upper Beach a wet spot; November is when you get the most rain here; September meanwhile is the driest month. | |
