Hit the beach if you want, Sandy Beach is practically right here, and a round of golf at nearby Shelter Island Country Club is a brilliant way to kill some time. Orient Beach State Park is a glorious site to have a look at. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Truman Beach. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's.       All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Truman Beach nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.
