| | At last, beach time is here again, and Town Beach in Suffolk County, New York is a glorious place to go. Wavy water and such a beautiful segment of shoreline is quite a view. Town Beach is a relaxing site, and when you're here you're always having a glorious time. Some endeavors here are swimming, fishing, boating, golfing, and whitewater paddling, so becoming bored is not something that is likely to occur. at the beach also. The close by places to stay are fairly far away from the beach, but you'd better book previous to going since these hotels fill up fast throughout the summertime months. Town Beach is next to Heckscher State Park which is a pretty site, and Great Cove is not
| | far at all. A day at Town Beach close to Town Beach is time well spent, and do stop by Champlin Creek if you're here at Town Beach. During your stay at Town Beach do explore close by West Beach; a trip to Bayberry Point is always a great idea. For you golfers we recommend close by Timber Point Golf Course. Town Beach is a reasonably wet place commonly with much rainfall; during the month of November you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the warm months at Town Beach highs are regularly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Town Beach. | |
