Tobay Beach, Nassau County, New York
|
| | I am trying to find if there is any activities for Tobay Beach. A family show I am told is what is showing there can I please get a feed back from anyone? Says Caterina Kunzeman
I have lived on Long Island my whole life. I grew up at Point Lookout, Jones, Robert Moses. Since becoming a resident of Oyster Bay (Farmingdale) we get a pass for the year to go to Tobay. It is the nicest, family friendly beach around. Best beach, park, ocean, pavillion. LOVE IT! Says Chris
First of all, if there was water in the tunnels it means that there was |
|
a lot of rain recently. Secondly, it is a private beach, for Town of Oyster Bay residents, and the high price for non-residents is to keep them to a minimum so residents such as myself can use the beach that their taxes support without it being too crowded, like Jones Beach.
| I pay $40 for the whole summer unlimited parking. Says Diane
$30 is not alot for people living in Manhattan. This Beach is for Oyster Bay residents. We do pay 12000-20000 in property taxes per year. Says Greg
No idea when you went to visit...the fee is for the seaon not one day and the people and faciilites are always clean Says
PARKING FEES ARE CRAZY-- $30 TO PARK, ITS A JOKE--SHOULD MAKE IT A PRIVATE BEACH, THATS WHAT YOU WANT. COSTS LESS TO PARK IN MANHATTAN. Says J.MURRAY
We visited Tobay Beach with relatives who live | |

on Long Island. It cost $30.00 a car( 2 cars). We found the bathrooms filthy, the tunnels with old water above our ankles -workers unpleasant. It was a family reunion with people from Nevada, Florida, and upstate New York. We felt we were robbed. The remaining time we spent at

As long as you get pleasure from beaches you will get pleasure from New York. Anxious to get down to the beach, Tobay Beach in Nassau County, New York is a really splendid place to stay. There aren’t any accommodations nearby but if you're ok to voyage a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve previous to going in view of the fact that these hotels fill up quickly during the summer.
