A day at Bar Beach next to Tappen Beach is time well spent, and Hempstead Harbor is not far at all. One of the best things about Tappen Beach is its proximity to East Beach, and golf can be played at Nassau Country Club Executive. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Plandome Country Club is a golf course near Tappen Beach.
