Taking a little tour to close by Barleyfield Cove is a brilliant idea, and on a nice day it's a great idea to spend the day at Chocomount Beach. South Beach is in the vicinity of Haley Farm State Park which is a gorgeous location, and you can hit the beach if you want, Nauyaug Coast is practically right here. | |

If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. Hiking is a popular thing to do around South Beach; Narragansett Trail is a pleasant local trail, and a round of golf at nearby Elmridge Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. High
