A day at beautiful Long Beach right next door to Short Beach is a great thing to do, and the South Ferry Hills makes the scenery here good. Here at Short Beach you can catch a sight of South Ferry Hills, and while you're here and you like golf, you can visit Shelter Island Country Club. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time       here at Short Beach. While you're here at Short Beach you should pop by Short Bay, and close to Short Beach you discover a golf course called Atlantic Golf Club. Short Beach is a quite wet place regularly with a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with   the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September. For the duration of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Short Beach, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Short Beach dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
