| | Ripley Beach is a relaxing site; sections of coast like these are tremendous. The close by hotel rooms are a bit away from the beach, but you'd better reserve before you go given that these hotels fill up rapidly through the warm months. The way the water unites such a charming slice of coastline is quite a sight. New York is a great beach state. Some of the pursuits here are fishing, golfing, whitewater paddling, boating, and swimming, so becoming bored is not something that is expected to take place. The campgrounds here at Ripley Beach are pretty perfect. |

At Ripley Beach through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Ripley Beach plunge into the 10's. | |
