There are some pleasant whitewater spots on North Sandy Creek. North Shore gets a typical amount of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the warm months at North Shore highs are frequently in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's.
