Anxious to get down to the beach, If you happen to be in Nassau County of New York, Jones Beach is a magnificent local section of shore. There aren’t any rooms nearby but if you're ok to voyage a short length then no problem and if you make reservations in advance of a trip you're all set. to get bored. For all you camping folks there are campgrounds nearby. The joining of the water and a beautiful shore outdoes anything. A tremendous beach in the vicinity of Jones Beach is Tobay Beach, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Jones Beach
| | State Park. Short Beach is a beach in close proximity to Jones Beach that you can visit, and Peninsula Golf Club is a good golf course nearby. Zachs Bay is not far from Jones Beach at all. Throughout the months of summer at Jones Beach highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while Jones Beach nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Jones Beach is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. | |
