There's great hiking along the Dividing Ridge Trail, and paddling on The Branch is so much fun. A visit to nearby Duck Hole is very relaxing; it's a delightful idea to have a look at Clear Pond Inlet. There are tremendous locations to look at along the Dix Trail, and the sight of Clear Pond Mountain is lovely. Get drenched paddling on Schroon River, and don't leave Jones Beach without first going for a hike along the Elk Lake Marcy Trail. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Jones Beach. Why not pop by Loon Bay also while you're here. During the summertime, highs usually are in the 70's       at Jones Beach while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Jones Beach tend to be in the 0's.
