West Harbor is reasonably near Centre Island Beach, and a round of golf at nearby Glen Cove Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time. And that's not all you can do here at Centre Island Beach. Norwalk River is a good whitewater   spot close to Centre Island Beach, and you can spend the day on the beach at Beekman Beach. Nassau Country Club Executive is a fine golf course close by.
