Bar Beach, Nassau County, New York   Magnificent shining water and such a pretty section of coastline is a vista worth seeing. For all you camping people there are campgrounds in the vicinity. Bar Beach doesn’t get many visitors, but it really is a magnificent beach. Some activities here are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, golfing, and boating, so getting bored is not something that is probable to occur. The nearby hotel rooms are fairly away from the beach, and if you make reservations previous to going you're all set. This slice of shore is a great location to have a look at. Going to     the beach here in New York is a must. Going to Hempstead Lake State Park close to Bar Beach is a magnificent thing to do; Mott Cove is around here and always delightful to pop by. You get a great sight of Harbor Hill from Bar Beach, and Hempstead Harbor is relatively close. Nothing beats kicking back at East Beach; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Nassau Country Club Executive is close by. You're sure to run into some good people from New York-Newark-Edison here, and a round of golf at nearby Glen Cove Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time. All the outdoors fun stuff close to Bar Beach will keep you coming back repeatedly. Hit the beach if you want, Tappen Beach is practically right here, and Plandome Country Club is a wonderful golf course close by. Bar Beach sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the   month with most of the rain is May, and February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Bar Beach throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Bar Beach temperatures drop to the 20's.
