Asharoken Beach, Suffolk County, New York   The grand water and this section of shore is quite a view. You can pitch that tent of yours or park your RV at a nearby campground. Among the exciting     things you can do close to Asharoken Beach are fishing, boating, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's just not possible to become bored. Spend the day on the beach at Hobart Beach since you're here at Asharoken Beach, and places like Caumsett State Park are delightful to stop at. During your stay at Asharoken Beach do go to close by Centerport Beach; you'll meet a lot of people from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk here. Northport Bay is in the neighborhood and always great to have a look at, and don't leave Asharoken Beach without first checking out Duck Island Bluff. A tour to nearby Duck Island Harbor is very relaxing; a good place for whitewater paddling is Norwalk River. Having a good time at Asharoken Beach is simple. Asharoken Beach is a wet site that gets a large amount of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain   here, and February on the other hand is the driest. During the warm months at Asharoken Beach highs are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Asharoken Beach night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
