The touching of the water and the scenic seaboard tops anything. A small number of places to stay nearby, you'll have to journey a bit to get to one, but do reserve a room prior to departure as it is a very popular destination. And naturally, there are campgrounds in close proximity. This segment of Nevada has an excellent choice of beaches. This section of shoreline is always good. There are more pastimes here other than just hanging out at the beach such     as boating, swimming, and fishing, so one won't be short of fun stuff to do. The smiling folks of Fallon like to hang out close by, and Lahontan State Recreation Area is a delightful place to go. If you're here at Churchill Beach, do take a spree to Horsemans Point, and you don’t have to go far from Churchill Beach to see the water at Lahontan Dam. One of the best things about Churchill Beach is its proximity to Sixmile Beach, and if you wish for a little side tour, try Sand Canyon. Summertime highs at Churchill Beach generally tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Churchill Beach tend to be in the 10's.
