  Burnt Cedar Beach is not a very visited section of shore, but it unquestionably is a brilliant beach. Some of the pastimes here are boating, whitewater paddling, hiking, golfing, fishing, and swimming, so one could stick around for a while. For all you camping people there are campgrounds in the neighborhood. The way the water converges with this section of coastline is such a delightful vista. There aren’t any rooms in the neighborhood but if you're prepared to journey a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve before you go because these
    hotels fill up quick all through the warm days of summer. Nevada is an excellent site for beach folks. A slice of shoreline such as this is too nice to pass up. Second Creek flows through this area, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Mount Rose Trail. If you're
here at Burnt Cedar Beach and you like golf, you can stop at Old Brockway Golf Course, and close by you locate the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14 which is a brilliant hiking trail. Crystal Bay is close to Burnt Cedar Beach and is a great spot to go to; this is a popular spot for folks from Carson City. Beaches are good; and Hidden Beach near Burnt Cedar Beach is no exception, and there's whitewater on Truckee River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Burnt Cedar Beach.  
    Everybody loves Sand Harbor Beach State Recreation Area, and Incline Beach is a beach nearby that you can go to. During the days of summer at Burnt Cedar Beach temperatures are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's. Through the winter highs
 are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Burnt Cedar Beach temperatures sink to the 0's. Burnt Cedar Beach is a location that is quite dried up typically; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month is July.
