Thompsons Beach is a site with many visitors from Ocean City, and do pay a visit to New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route while you're here at Thompsons Beach. Cape Henlopen State Park is a delightful location to stretch your legs a bit, and Cooks Beach is reasonably close by if you're in a beach type of mood. At Thompsons Beach all through the summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the       30's, and night lows at Thompsons Beach through the winter frequently sink into the 20's.
