This is such a charming section of shore. The close by rooms are fairly far from the beach, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Some of the pastimes here are boating, swimming, and fishing, so feeling bored is not something that is likely     to occur. A trip to Cape Henlopen State Park when you're here at Thompsons Beach is a nice idea, and this is a popular location for people from Ocean City. Visiting New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and Maurice River Neck is in close proximity and always good to stop by. One of the best things about Thompsons Beach is its proximity to Moores Beach, and during your stay here do take a look at nearby Cooks Beach. Thompsons Beach is a wet site that gets a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls during March; October meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summertime highs here at Thompsons Beach reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's.
