A nice location like Cape Henlopen State Park close to Sunset Beach is too great to leave out; why not a little side trip to Pond Creek. Be careful coming to Sunset Beach, you might not ever want to go back home again. Summertime highs at Sunset Beach commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sunset Beach are in the 20's.
