| | We have a natural beach, good for surf fishing, boating, walking your dog. Swimming is best done on the ocean, not the bay, sorry to say. And there is no camping. Nearest spot is at Cheesequake State Park off Exit 120 of the Garden State Parkway. CB is not a ''pretty wet place''; it gets average summer rainfall for a temperate zone locale. Bird watching is good here. Nice view of Keyport harbor. The view of Whale Creek is not a remarkable vista for a postcard. Says Pat

You have to get out; If by chance you happen to be in Monmouth County of New Jersey, Cliffwood Beach is a glorious local piece of shore. And it goes without saying that, there are campgrounds around here. A trip to nearby Matawan Point is very relaxing, and on a fine day it's a pleasant idea to spend the day at Seidler Beach. if you want to hit the beach, Raritan Bay Beach is around here. Looking for some flowing water? Try Whale Creek; Gateway National Recreation Area is a fine national park. South Shore Golf Course is a magnificent golf course nearby; why not go to Keyport Harbor also if you're here.

All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cliffwood Beach.
