| | We have a natural beach, good for surf fishing, boating, walking your dog. Swimming is best done on the ocean, not the bay, sorry to say. And there is no camping. Nearest spot is at Cheesequake State Park off Exit 120 of the Garden State Parkway. CB is not a ''pretty wet place''; it gets average summer rainfall for a temperate zone locale. Bird watching is good here. Nice view of Keyport harbor. The view of Whale Creek is not a remarkable vista for a postcard. Says Pat

the beach as well. There's so much fun things to do close to Cliffwood Beach including whitewater paddling, boating, fishing, golfing, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is expected to occur. If you're a camper you can pitch that tent at one of the good campgrounds

We all must pop by the beach every so often, and Cliffwood Beach in Monmouth County, New Jersey is a fine place to go.
