On a delightful day you get a sight of Keyser Hill from Dewey Beach, and don't leave Dewey Beach without first going for a hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail. A journey to Dewey Beach wouldn’t be complete without a trip to close by Mount Sunapee State Park, and Sunapee Harbor is in the neighborhood and always good to visit. River is a nice whitewater spot in close proximity to Dewey Beach, and the scenery at Sunapee Lake Town Dam is pretty. There's wonderful hiking along the West Ridge Trail. The annual precipitation here at Dewey Beach is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain
while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Dewey Beach reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Dewey Beach through the wintertime mostly dip into the 0's.
