Hurst Beach, Onslow County, North Carolina Custom Search   My family owned a farm between Hurst Beach & highway 172 and I spent a lot of time at Hurst beach while  growing up.  That all ended when the Gov. took over half the County to make Camp Lejeune Marine Base. This sector of North Carolina is always a delight to visit throughout the summer. There's a heap of outdoors recreation available nearby such as swimming, boating,     and fishing, so it's not possible to become bored. There aren’t any lodgings around here but if you're ok to journey a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve before heading out in view of the fact that these hotels fill up fast during the summertime. You can set up that camp site or park your RV at a close by campground. This segment of coastline is so scenic. Hurst Beach is not an extremely congested section of coast; it indisputably is a glorious beach. On a tremendous day it's a nice idea to spend the day at North Topsail Shores, and you'll meet a lot of people from Jacksonville here. If you want to hit the beach, Onslow Beach is in the vicinity, and Hammocks Beach State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit. This campground has so unbelievably much. Gillets Creek flows through this area. Much rain       falls at Hurst Beach; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November. High temperatures at Hurst Beach during the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's.
