Some of the activities here are swimming, hiking, fishing, and boating, so one might stick around for a while. The calm of the water and the seaboard is such a wonderful vista. The nearby rooms are slightly far away from the beach, but do reserve a room in advance of a trip because it is a very popular destination. close at hand. This piece of shoreline is so nice. North Carolina is a glorious place for beach folks. The vista of Whale Head Hill from Currituck Beach is striking, and False Cape State Park is a gorgeous place any time of year. A trip to nearby Whale Head Bay is very relaxing,
| | and hiking along the Jeep Trail is good fun. Taking a little trip to close by Whole Head Bay is a good idea. A good deal of precipitation falls at Currituck Beach; August is the month that gets the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the summer highs here at Currituck Beach reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 70's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Currituck Beach fall into the 30's. | |
