Long Beach, Flathead County, Montana Custom Search   We all have to stop at the beach every so often, and Long Beach in Flathead County, Montana is a really good place to stay. Not too many lodgings close by, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up slumbering in your car. Swan River is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and there are fine sites to explore along the Wolf Creek Trail. Float down the rapids of Swan River in a kayak, and don't forget to check out Bigfork Harbor if you're here. Going for a hike on the Alpine Trail is always a great adventure, and there are plenty of folks from Kalispell here. At North Shore Harbor in the vicinity of Long Beach there are some interesting things to see, and don't leave Long Beach without first going for a hike along the Noisy Creek Notch Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area near Long Beach has to offer. Wayfarers State Park is worth checking       out if you're at Long Beach, and golf can be played at Eagle Bend Golf Club. Long Beach is a location that is rather dehydrated generally; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. Through the long summer days at Long Beach   temperatures are mostly in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Long Beach.
