| | We all have to stop at the beach every so often, and Long Beach in Flathead County, Montana is a really good place to stay. Not too many lodgings close by, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up slumbering in your car. Choppy water and such a delightful slice of shore is a sight worth seeing. This section of shore is a pretty site to take a look at. As if Long Beach wasn't sufficient you can also go golfing, fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and boating, so being bored is not something |

that is expected to take place. And obviously, there are campgrounds in the neighborhood. This section of Montana has a good selection of beaches. Swan River is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and there are fine sites to explore along the Wolf Creek
| | Trail. Float down the rapids of Swan River in a kayak, and don't forget to check out Bigfork Harbor if you're here. Going for a hike on the Alpine Trail is always a great adventure, and there are plenty of folks from Kalispell here. At North Shore Harbor in the vicinity of Long Beach there are some interesting things to see, and don't leave Long Beach without first going for a hike along the Noisy Creek Notch Trail.
