Black Sandy Beach doesn’t get many visitors, but spending time at this section of coast is incredibly fun. The close by rooms are fairly away from the beach, and if you make reservations previous to going you're all set. As if Black Sandy Beach wasn't enough you can also go hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is expected |

to happen. The azure breakers hitting the charming seaside is a pretty panorama. At this piece of coast you will not ever have a bad time. Prickly Pear Creek flows through this neighborhood, also Hauser Dam is worth stopping at since you're here. Just can't get enough of the Wind
| | River Range. Don't leave Black Sandy Beach without visiting Helena National Forest, and close by you come across the 1906 Trail which is a great hiking trail. This is such a pleasant ski area. Favorite Gulch is in close proximity to Black Sandy Beach and is absolutely a nice place to check out, and you're sure to run into some good people from Helena here. Going for a hike on the Backside Trail is always a good adventure, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dearborn River. Sandy Beach, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Black Sandy Beach.
