| | you may run into during your stay. Big Bay is relatively right next door to Squaw Beach, and get dripping wet paddling on Yellow Dog River. Good hiking is available along the Holyoke Trail. The annual precipitation here at Squaw Beach is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Squaw Beach, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Squaw Beach descend into the 0's. | |
