Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do near Short Sands. A glorious view of lovely Simpson Hill is available       from Short Sands; Atlantic Ocean has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. Don't forget to have a look at Barn Point while you're here at Short Sands. Through the days of summer at Short Sands temperatures are commonly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually   in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Short Sands.
