There's loads of outdoors recreation available nearby such as hiking, boating, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t become bored. This slice of shoreline is so scenic. Redman Brook is a great place to have a look at; hiking is a popular thing to do around Schoodic Beach; Jessup Trail is a delightful local trail. This is such a pleasant ski area. Don't miss out on a visit to Acadia National Park if you're here at Schoodic Beach; float down the rapids of Narraguagus River - West Branch in a kayak. One of the overriding characteristics of the surroundings of Schoodic Beach is Schoodic Mountain, and while you're here,   do take a visit to Cape Rosier. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do close to Schoodic Beach. If you come at the right time of year, Narraguagus River offers some good whitewater, and Lamoine State Park is a pleasant spot to stretch your legs a bit. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Wind River Range. During your stay at Schoodic Beach do explore close by Black Beach; why not take a refreshing hike along the Hemlock Trail. The surroundings of this ski area have so much to offer. Schoodic Beach is a wet place that gets much rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain; August on the other hand is the driest. During the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Schoodic Beach, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, typically in the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Schoodic Beach dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
