| | We went to Scarborugh Beach on September 19, 2007 and were very disappointed. At the gate house a young fellow collected $4 from us. The restrooms were fenced in and locked. Scarborough Beach is not an extraordinarily visited segment of coastline, but being at the beach is such a fun thing to do, and this is a glorious location to do that. If you're dropping by Scarborough Beach from Portland-South Portland, you won't be the only one, and on a lovely day you can go to Back Shore. at Scarborough Beach; a day at lovely Western Beach in the neighborhood of Scarborough Beach is a good thing to do. While you're here at Scarborough Beach you must go to East Point, and there are some great whitewater spots on Royal River. A golf course close to Scarborough Beach
is Pleasant Hill Golf Course, and a tremendous site is Shooting Rock. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Scarborough Beach, too tremendous to be true. If you're here at Scarborough Beach and you like golf, you can stop by Willowdale Golf Club, and don't forget to pop by Prouts
Neck if you're here. There's whitewater on Chandler Brook for all you thrill seekers; enjoy a round of golf at Sable Oaks Golf Club. Take a little journey to Scarborough River while you're here at Scarborough Beach. All the water falling down from the sky makes Scarborough Beach
a wet site; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Scarborough Beach get into the 70's. Summer night lows dip
down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Scarborough Beach.
