Ames Cove is in the neighborhood and always pleasant to pop by; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Spring Brook Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Goose River; time spent at Bakeman Beach is always tremendous. On a great day at Redman Beach you can take a hike along the Blue Hill Trail, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Trail Point Trail. Summertime highs at Redman Beach mostly tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Redman Beach fall into the 10's.
