Few lodgings close at hand, you'll have to journey a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up slumbering in your automobile. This part of Maine has a wonderful selection of beaches. The cobalt breakers hitting the pretty Maine shoreline is a vista worth seeing. There are more endeavors here other than just hanging out at the beach like whitewater paddling, fishing, boating, and swimming, so being without endeavors will     not take place. A slice of shoreline like this is too glorious to pass up. For all you camping people there are campgrounds close at hand. Popham Beach State Park is worth going to if you're at Popham Beach, and a visit to nearby Hunnewell Point is very relaxing. Sheepscot River is a splendid whitewater spot in close proximity to Popham Beach, and taking a little journey to close by Gilbert Head is a great idea. A great site close to Popham Beach is Jack Rock; nothing beats kicking back at Mile Beach. A great spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Popham Beach is Cathance River, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Hunnewell Beach. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Popham Beach. At Popham Beach you can make out Sabino Hill; while you're here, you could go to Kennebec River. Popham Beach is       a pretty wet place usually with much rainfall; most of the rain falls through November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer at Popham Beach arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, generally in   the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Popham Beach temperatures fall to the 10's.
