Rhine Point is relatively near Pobblestone Cove, and paddling on Machias River is so much fun. Any time is a glorious time at Pobblestone Cove if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you're looking for a beach close to Pobblestone Cove, we recommend Little Pond Beach; Roque Bluffs State Park is worth stopping at. Life's   too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Wind River Range. Pobblestone Cove sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December while August is usually the driest month. During the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Pobblestone Cove, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Pobblestone Cove dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
