You must unquestionably go to pretty Popham Beach while you're here at Mile Beach, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Boothbay Country Club is close at hand. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area right next door to Mile Beach has to offer. Near Mile Beach you stumble on Little River Ledges which is a fine spot to visit, and paddling on Sheepscot River is so much fun. usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Mile Beach overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. The high level of rainfall makes Mile Beach a rather wet place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
