Ok, you've been indoors for too much time; Marlboro Beach in Hancock County, Maine is a really brilliant site to stay. You may well have to settle for a hotel a far from the beach if you want to stay for the night, but do book a room before you go given that it is a very popular destination. Marlboro Beach is a relaxing place, and being at the beach is such a cool thing to do, and this is a great location to do that. A journey to Maine is     not complete without some time spent on the beach. If by chance you're a camper you can raise that tent of yours at one of the magnificent campgrounds close at hand. There are wonderful places to look at along the McFarland Hill Trail, and a great place to take a look at close by is Shooting Ledge. Go for a hike on the Conners Nubble Trail, and one of the best things about this site is its proximity to Lamoine Beach. Good hiking is available along the Bar Island Trail, and Raccoon Cove is not far at all. A spree to Marlboro Beach wouldn’t be complete without a trip to close by Lamoine State Park, and Skillings River is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. While you're here at Marlboro Beach you can play some golf at Bar Harbor Golf Course; don't miss out on a tour to       Acadia National Park since you're here. A good spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Marlboro Beach is Union River; Old Point is very near and is a fine place to visit. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Branch Lake   Stream. Marlboro Beach is a wet site that gets a good deal of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and August is when it's the driest. Through the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 70's at Marlboro Beach. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Marlboro Beach dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
