Says Dan Meyer Lucia Beach is a place where you won’t catch a sight of good size crowds, but being on it is splendid joy any time. A section of shore like this is too great to leave out. The glittering water and the beautiful shoreline is a pretty sight. You truly can't spend too much time indoors; you need to get out of the house every now and then, and Lucia Beach in Knox County, Maine is precisely what you require. Outdoors recreation is     plentiful; some of the amusing things you can do are fishing, hiking, golfing, swimming, boating, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is expected to happen. You can pitch that tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There aren’t any hotel rooms nearby but if you're ok to voyage a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations previous to going you're all set. Have a great hiking adventure along the Ragged Mountain Trail, and Howie Rock is a great site to stop by. You are near Birch Point while you're here at Lucia Beach, and going for a hike along the Mount Battie Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Lots of folks from Rockland come to Lucia Beach, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. A quick visit to Weskeag       River close to Lucia Beach is a magnificent idea; there's whitewater on Oyster River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lucia Beach really is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Otter Point is pretty near Lucia Beach, and a golf course nearby is Rockland Golf Club. A glorious   site like Camden Hills State Park in the vicinity of Lucia Beach is too fine to leave out, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Ducktrap River. The high level of rain makes Lucia Beach a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain is November, and July meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Lucia Beach all through the warm months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 30's while Lucia Beach overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's.
